The Teaching

Mystery I — He waits

The God who needs nothing chooses to wait for the prayers of His people before He moves.

Mystery II — pray His will

‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’ Prayer is how His will lands here.

Five things come through prayer

Intimacy, provision, protection, power, and the fulfilment of God's plans — He is gracious at the sound of our cry.

The Scriptures
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10
And I sought for a man… that should stand in the gap before me for the land.
Ezekiel 22:30
He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
Isaiah 30:19
